Installing screens is usually very small. They are a necessary part of playing great and complex video games, but they often break the flow of the game. Sometimes games get fun or exciting things to do with this wait. Need Hackers 2 uses these screens to show the creativity of users and I love it so much.
I've been playing a lot DQB2 recently. I missed playing it last year though I regret that. If I had played this Minecraft-ish RPG-adventure game last year I could have easily put up my official GOTY list. But I play it now and dig it. (DIGGING. Get it ?! Like how you dig and mine blocks in this game … Continuing.)
There are many settings for loading DQB2 and when overflowing they tend to get out quickly. But when the world begins to load, there comes a long time to load. Instead of just having a screen or logo, DQB2 uses this time to show user-generated designs and screens. This is a great use for the loading screen.
Every time I wake up Need Hackers 2, I have been greeted with some great player creations. I am always excited to see what I will see in this and it often inspires me to do something cool or to explore more of the game. At the very least it usually makes me want to play more so I can open all the cool blocks and things I see on the screen.
Frequency loading machines rely on random gameplay tips or specific art work. It's neither fun nor encouraging. This is just a pause between gameplay. Things you hate or avoid. I've lost count how many times I've avoided doing something in the game because I know it can lead to a long loading screen.
But I'm genuinely happy each time I load DQB2. I can't wait to see what random and important screenshot I will be served right now. Of course, all these screens and much more are available for this game at any time. But getting yourself out of your clothes every time you start a game is a great way to get everyone involved. It also allows the cool environment to get more attention.
So many games today allow you to take screenshots of the game with standard camera tools. But most of this is shared on Twitter or Instagram. Instead, I crave more, similar games DQB2, take player screenshots and put them in the game above.
I mean I wish more games were good Need Hackers 2 generally, but especially for loading screens.
