Marvel Games and ARC system works create an original new fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fight souls, A 4V4-tag fighter. ARC showed the new game during Sony's game on Wednesday with a Hype teaser trailer that shows the wonderful game.
Anime interpretations of characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, Ms. Marvel, Storm, Star-Lord, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man and Doctor Doom can be seen in the clip fight with exaggerated attacks and finishers. Marvel Tōkon: Fight souls is published for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC in 2026.
The 2.5D fighter is a new direction for Marvel fighting games, since Marvel's heroes and villains were historically associated with Capcom.
Capcom and Marvel worked for the first time in 1993, with the publication of the Beat-'- game The Punisher. The success of the game led to a fertile relationship between the two companies in the 90s, with iconic titles such as Marvel Super Heroes (1995), X-Men against Street Fighter (1996) and Marvel Super Heroes against Street Fighter (1997). This series of Games Kick started with the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise, which showed four titles, with the last game of the commercial failure that became 2017 Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite -A game without X-Men or another character that belongs at the time of the 20th Century Fox.
Capcom and Marvel most recently worked together with 2024 Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. The move made the fans believe that a potential fourth MVC game was on the road, and although it could still happen, Marvel seems to have other plans for his fighting games.
