In a video uploaded in June, Bynx describes a strategy that includes a Marvel snap Map named Leader. It has 6 energy and a strength of 4, but the key is the Green Alien ability. When revealing, Leader copies all the cards your opponent has played, but on your side. Are the gears turning in your head yet?
The video continues to show a variety of matches, with Bynx using all means available to edit the map. For example, in the first game, he uses a Psylocke to gain extra energy so the leader doesn’t have to appear on the last turn. When he plays Leader, he ends up copying the enemy’s Devil Dinosaur, a card that gets stronger based on how many cards you have in hand. In the next round he gets Odin, which makes him do it all over again! This particular match ends on a modest number, but trust me when I say the possibilities are absolutely wild.
While it’s unlikely you’ll be able to reproduce the exact conditions to achieve this on a consistent basis given how random it is Marvel snap The world record for most points is 2,147,483,647. Bynx says during the video that he “doesn’t think it can be broken because it seems like the maximum integer allowed in one place”. The YouTube description shows that this is not a random number:

To achieve the incredible number, the match featured a zone that reduced card costs from the start. Crucial to pull the leader early. Another key thing here was having a zone that doubles running effects along with a zone that doubles all reveals: a recipe for exponential shenanigans. The second the latter zone spawns, he knocks down the leader because that means he can knock down anything the enemy puts down twice. And if this Cards have reveal effects or persistent effects? You see where this is going, right.

Poor Bynx opponents certainly didn’t, as they snapped forward mid-game. Ouch. As it turns out, they were playing Onslaught in the 2X continuous zone, meaning Bynx had the same high-value card on his side twice. But his opponent had an ace up his sleeve, not only knocking down Cosmo to end a game in the Double Reveal Zone, but also putting down a Devil Dinosaur in the Running Zone. Suddenly the side opposite Bynx had a 72 on the board. And there are two more curves to the left. High stakes!
Bynx starts calculating at this point. He reckons that despite those big numbers, he might be able to set up a nasty final game. First he puts down Psylocke this turn, which increases his energy in the next turn, along with Captain Marvel, who at the end of the win automatically moves to where he needs to go to ensure a win (if that’s possible).
Then comes the pain. He knocks down Iron Man on the final turn, which doubles the lasting power in the place where there were ALREADY two cards that doubled the lasting effects on a zone that also doubles running effects. The number doesn’t even look real at the end. He can only laugh.
“I feel really fortunate and fortunate to have been the first person to have the highest possible performance in a place,” Bynx said my box via direct message. “It’s still the record and, barring a code change, can never be broken!”
I can’t wait to see Leaders all over the place now that this is out there. REST IN PEACE. My favorite part, though, is that even with this completely absurd number…Bynx loses the match. As we say in our Marvel snap Tips, bigger is not always better. But damn it if it’s not satisfying.
