How to get medallions in Fortnite

Medallions are boss drops that empower you in different ways. The medallions in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 are:
- Hiker medallioncame over Shogun XGrants infinite stamina and invisibility while sprinting
- Night Rose Medallioncame over night roseensures that your weapons reload themselves
Medallions do not take up inventory space as they (like gold) have their own place in your bag.
To get the medallion you have to do it Eliminate the boss NPC holding it. As you approach them, a large health bar for each boss will appear at the top of your screen.
Unlike other NPCs that can be attacked fairly easily and eliminated instantly, these NPCs all have respawning minions that will shoot at you as soon as they see you. However, it may be easier to loot the locations mentioned and then head out to grab a medallion.
Luckily, the NPCs shoot like Star Wars Storm Troopers (which means they have very poor aim), so you don't have to worry too much about the minions. Focus on the boss with a decent weapon and you should be able to get a medallion. Note that the boss frequently refills his shield, making him a troublesome target.
If you see an orange or gold circle on the map, it means a player nearby also has a medallion. You can eliminate this player to get his medallion.
Where to find medallions in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

The fight against her is a multi-stage boss fight against Night Rose and her floating-headed Oni puppeteer. Shogun Xhowever, initially spawns randomly on the island. You need to look for his Oni Mask icon on the map. However, this is not its final form. The randomly (re)spawning Shogun X only drops a random mythic weapon, not the medallion.
For the final boss version of Shogun X you have to survive until you survive Fourth storm circle. At this point, Shogun Arena appears in a random location – first as a red rift symbol and then as a red Oni Mask symbol (once a player gets close enough).
Defeating Shogun X here will give you this Hiker medallion And Fire Oni Mask from Shogun X.
