That top gun Consequence Top Gun: Maverick is finally ready to hit theaters, and that means Microsoft flight simulator‘s long-delayed connection has also arrived. The flight game expansion launched on Wednesday and is free for everyone Microsoft flight simulator Player.
The new content is designed so that some of it puts you squarely in the spotlight top gun– style action. It contains a new one Top Gun: Maverick Edition livery for the F/A-18E Super Hornet, plus three Super Hornet training missions designed after some complicated fighter pilot maneuvers, including unconstrained takeoffs and split-S maneuvers.
There are also five other challenges, all of which focus on flying very low and very fast, and a challenge that requires players to land on an aircraft carrier. The expansion also introduces a new hypersonic aircraft that can reach Mach 10 and altitudes in excess of 150,000 feet. There’s also a new mission that lets you fly into the stratosphere.
All Microsoft flight simulator‘s Top Gun: Maverick Embed content is now available in-game for players to try once they download the free expansion.
