Misko’s darling is an optional set of side activities for you to discover The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
By tracking down certain characters in the world, they can give you clues to the locations of treasures said to be hidden by the legendary bandit Misko somewhere in Hyrule.
The Legend of the Bandit Misko and His Treasures includes several quests that you may have to stumble upon through luck – but the good news is that you don’t need any clues to discover them, assuming you know where the treasure is located just get them. This is how Misko’s Treasure locations work.
How to discover Meeshy’s Misko’s Treasure locations
In order to add a set of Misko Treasure Locations to your map, you will need to find certain characters in the world and/or complete certain quests.
The earliest and what most players will discover naturally is Locationwho roams the streets of Hyrule.
Your location seems to vary. For us, we found them just outside the village of Kakariko. Other players have reported finding them near stables or on roads leading out of the Central Hyrule region. So it takes a bit of luck to find them. Be sure to keep an eye out for a character sporting a fashionable blue mushroom outfit. And note that they might also be attacked by monsters, so you might have a short fight before they can talk.
From there, you’ll learn about three pieces of armor that “infuse the wearer with power,” “pretty stylish,” and “protect you from lightning,” all of which are added to your map. These all belong to a different set, but are all good starting points for useful early armor.
Meeshy also gives you a hint on how to start finding Great Fae locations – which is related to upgrading your armor.
How to get the “Mighty Outfit” from Misko’s Treasure
This note refers to the Barbarian Armor Chestpiece, which has three defense options and adds +1 Attack Power.
Inside you’ll find the chest piece of barbarian armor Crenel Hills Cave at the coordinates (0484, 0729, 0041)southwest of Crenel Hills.
Our full explanation of the Barbarian armor set explains in detail how to obtain the piece (as well as the other two pieces of the full set). However, this involves exploring a cave with glowing stone deposits and overcoming an encounter with a stone talus.
How to get Misko’s Treasure Climbing Outfit
This clue relates to the Climbing Gear chestpiece, which has three defenses and increases your climbing speed.
You can find this in the North Hyrule Plain Cave at the coordinates (-1188, 0646, 0072)Northwest of Lookout Landing and just before New Serenne Stable as you come off Lookout Landing on the right side of the road.
Our full Climbing Armor section explains in detail how to obtain the piece (as well as the other two pieces for the full set), but it’s all about surviving two likes at the start of a cave network. Bring projectiles if you can!
How to get the Misko’s Treasure Shockproof Outfit
This clue alludes to the Rubber Armor chest piece, which has three defenses and increases shock resistance – useful if you’re thinking of taking on a Thunder Gleeok.
This can be found at Whistling Hill Cave at coordinates (-0065, -1053, 0019)which is north of the Teniten Shrine.
Our full rubber armor set explains in more detail how to obtain these – as well as the other pieces – but the short and sweet is that you have to destroy the rocks at the entrance and at the end of the cave to get into the system and find the chest piece.
How to find other Misko’s Treasure locations
As well as Meeshy, there are also some treasure hunters who will point you towards two other full armor sets. Many of them wear Cece’s signature fashions, making them easy to spot on the street.
These sets (which are said to be Misko’s own wardrobe), the clues that will lead you to them, and their ending locations (in case you’d rather go straight to the loot) are:
