As a child, I was very familiar with the lively theme song of Marvel vs Capcom 2. I am sure that almost everyone A Story to this game, and here’s mine: My family couldn’t afford a babysitter, even though my parents worked from sunrise to well past sunset. My older brother was often tasked with watching me growing up, but when he wasn’t available (because he had his own life), I would accompany my parents to their laundry shop. In the ’90s and early to mid-2000s, their store often had an arcade machine or two. Marvel vs Capcom 2 was the game that occupied me the most, and it became my everything. As far as I know, it was the first game I ever tried to master. I must have jumped on the sticks twenty times that afternoon whenever I was in that laundry, and in return MvC2 has never completely left me.
