Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten RingsThe co-writer and director of “Destin Daniel Cretton” makes the jump from comics to manga with a live-action adaptation Naruto. One of the most popular anime and manga titles of the last few decades. Naruto has lived many lives as a comic book, several animated series, and a ton of cartoons, not to mention a never-ending series of Video games
Cretton, who is also working on a sequel Shang Chi and a show based on the Marvel superhero Wonder Man, who personally received the blessing Naruto Creator Masashi Kishimoto after a recent visit to Tokyo. Kishimoto will help oversee production of the adaptation.
When speaking about Cretton, Mashimoto said the following:
“When I heard about Destin’s stubbornness, it happened to be right after I saw a blockbuster action film of his, and I thought he would be the perfect director for it Naruto
. After enjoying his other films and realizing that his strength lies in creating solid dramas about people, I came to the conclusion that there is no other director for that Naruto. When I actually met Destin, I found that he was an open-minded director who was willing to accept my input and strongly believed that we could work together in the production process.”
Cretton will produce the film alongside producer Avi Arad of Arad Productions, who is responsible for producing numerous Marvel-related films such as Sony’s Spider-Man Films that Spider-Verse Series, Morbiusand what is to come Kraven the Hunter. The production studio and Arad are also quickly gaining a reputation for anime and video game adaptations and helping produce the live-action Ghost in the Shell Film from 2017, this year’s border areas Movieand the recently announced Adaptation of The Legend of Zelda.
