Dedicated fans keep uploading new squads for old sports games but this new update for 2010 NBA jam goes above and beyond by adding so many new things that it’s practically a whole new game.
The 2010 edition of NBA jam had igamesnewsal player models, updated graphics and played smooth as hell, and in 2011 it got an updated version too NBA Jam: On Fire, which had HD graphics and an expanded list. The mod we are talking about today is based on this latter version.
NBA JAM: Legends On Fire Edition, out now, completely changes the 2011 release by introducing new rosters, new uniforms, new player heads, new team logos, new arenas, new sneakers, and authentic accessories (players wear in-game compression and shot sleeves when they do it wear them in real life) and even new arena wallpapers. There’s also a new campaign that edits the original’s “road trip” and then adds historical scenarios for you to relive (in a 2v2 setting).
As the name suggests, the new roster is a mix of current players and yesterday’s superstars. There are, for example, four Lakers teams: an 80’s roster where you can switch between Kareem, Magic, James Worthy and Vlade Divac, an early ’00’s Shaq and Kobe duo, a late ’00’s Kobe and Pau Gasol team and a 2020 option with Lebron and Anthony Davis. And the three Bulls rosters are late ’80s Jordan and Pippen, ’90s Jordan and Pippen, then Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah

I love it. i love everything about it The new stuff is so seamlessly blended with the original content that, like I said, it feels more like it NBA Jam 2023 as someone tinkering with a 13 year old game. Which is also a compliment Legends On Fire Creators, as it’s the 2010 game’s developers themselves who, it turns out, have very quietly created one of the most timeless sports video games of all time.
