The Miami Heat Center and FaZe Clan member Meyers Leonard apparently hate being snapped Call of Duty: War Zone, so much so that he called a long-range online opponent a “Kike Bitch” during a Monday night Twitch session.

As first noticed by the sports blog Defectorthis particular stream archive is not displayed Leonard’s channelBut as is so often the case, the internet never forgets.

Leonard started streaming this afternoon before being inundated with questions about the arch. He finally stopped the show to “hang out” with his wife.

Designed by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2012 before being traded to the Heat ahead of the 2019 season, Leonard diversified during the Covid-19 pandemic by joining the sports and online content creation organization FaZe Clan.

During his time with the NBA, Leonard criticized another race-insensitive action. He was the only player to stand still during an August 2020 game against the Denver Nuggets while both teams kneel in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement ESPN. Leonard said his decision was made out of respect for the U.S. military and his brother, who is a Marine.

While reportedly a more progressive space than other sports, this isn’t the first controversy of its kind for the NBA. When NFL recipient Desean Jackson made his own antisFormer NBA player Stephen Jackson publicly agreed with them last year before apologizing. The rest of the league was criticized for his silence on the matter.

Leonard has not yet dealt with the hot gamer moment on Monday evening.
