Necromunda: employed weapon takes place in the Warhammer 40K universe, but is far from the central high stakes wars of the area. Instead, you meet as a bounty hunter in the criminal hub of a Necromunda bee town and look for contracts. You have a dog too, that’s nice.
Employed gun is a fast and hectic first person shooter. The protagonist comes around with a grapple hook and wall sliding forces. Over time, players will become more powerful due to weapon upgrades and mods. A new trailer shows the dog, which is always appreciated, but there is also a much closer look at the RPG elements Necromunda
First and foremost, there are cosmetic improvements – a player hangs a spell from their weapon and changes the color of their cyber mastiff’s prosthesis. There are also companion skill trees so players can prioritize their power. Then things get more modular when it comes to the weapons themselves. A player can swap out elements of his weapon and tweak little things until his starting weapon, like a shotgun, is overpowering and ready to wreak havoc.
The players set off on missions. Hence, for the desired paydays for bounty hunters, finding the right equipment and upgrades for a scenario is critical. After a mission, the bounty hunter returns to a central secure hub where he can upgrade his equipment and take on new missions.
Over time, the player must choose between the warring factions of Necromunda. Fortunately, you can fight your way through any problem with a power launcher and another selection of powerful sci-fi weapons. Necromunda: employed weapon is available in stores on June 30th and in digital stores on July 1st for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows.
