Iron Cook was originally a Japanese TV series before being adapted Iron Cook America, which ran on Food Network for 13 seasons. The series pits challenger chefs against established pros in cooking challenges, often centered on a specific ingredient. The show has also had several spinoff series, including themed specials, regional competitions for the United Kingdom and Canada, and various other iterations.
