Netflix is quickly turning into Disney for anime and manga, releasing a series of classic series in live action form.
On Wednesday, the streaming service announced the adaptation of the live production of manga and anime One piece. This comes after the 2018 announcement that Netflix will distribute the manga and anime adaptation Cowboy Bebop, which comes after a bad (and white!) Netflix adaptation of manga and anime Death Note.
The One piece the live-action series was announced back in 2017 to be produced by Tom Tom Studios, but as Cowboy Bebop In a series, Netflix has announced a partnership "to bring this story to viewers around the world," as the media reported on the series.
One piece has been on the phone since 1997 and is following a pirate named Luffy with the legs. How that will translate to the screen, we just don't know. What we do know is that tomorrow Studios performs Corgi and John Cho on Cowboy Bebop flexibility, so if the precursor is high, One piece it will not disappoint. One Piece has never received a movie-action movie or show – Japanese or international – before, even if it had hosted an entertainment show in an indoor theme park in Japan. Somehow rubber arms work?
Best indication of this live action series? Writer and manga writer Eiichiro Oda will serve as executive producer. Commented on this via Netflix's Twitter.
“I know I announced the production of this in 2017, but these things take time! Preparations have been steadily improving behind the scenes, ”the NX on Netflix Twitter transferred from Order. “It looks like I might finally make a big announcement: Netflix, the world's largest entertainment service will lend us its productive support! How encouraging that is! How long will the story develop in these 10 episodes of Season 1? Who will be thrown !! Please wait a moment and stay tuned! ”
