Witch we are already one of Netflix's most popular shows – at least according to its disappointing new metric – so it's not surprising that it's starting to explode. On Wednesday afternoon, the radio producer announced that it was developing an anime film based on The Witcher's atmosphere. The news was first reported fans of Renadian Intelligence
The film will be titled Witch: Wolf's Night, and it will expand into the world of the series "with the discovery of a powerful new threat facing the continent." Although the press release is unclear what that means, it sounds like it will move the action from the show's main plot and focus on a separate story.
The spinoff was enhanced by Witch showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and producer Beau DeMayo. The animation is hosted by Studio Mir, a Korean studio behind animated shows such as Korra's fairy tale
Currently the spinoff has only been announced as a single film, and it is unclear if it will continue after that. Witch it has already been renewed for a second season, or the producers say season 2 will not be released until sometime in 2021. Witch: Wolf's Night has no release date yet.
