Netflix’s Bridgerton Season 3A, RuPaul All-Stars and more new TV shows this week

There’s a lot of TV to sift through in any given week, and this week is no exception – something I’m sure I’ve said about many jam-packed TV weeks, but what can you do! The TV gives and gives and takes away and gives some more.

If you want recommendations that go beyond just new shows, we’ve now started a monthly TV recommendation thread, which first took place last week. But if you’re looking for something to watch this week, check out the many options below. From the triumphant (but half-season!) return of Bridgerton As a wild conclusion to Apple TV Plus’ strangest show yet, there are a lot of great shows on the schedule this week.

Bridgerton Season 3A

It is Bridgerton Season 3 and it’s the ship we all have have been waiting for it seen for a long time: Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlin) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). But they’re not the only ones experiencing a romantic upheaval – ‘Tis the season, after all.

Blood of Zeus

Genre: Mythological fantasy
Release date: May 15th with all episodes

Heron (Derek Phillips) learns some hard truths about his relationship with demon leader Seraphim (Elias Toufexis) and has a showdown for the ages. (To sum it up succinctly: twin brother and killed him.) Now Hades wants Seraphim’s help to escape the underworld forever and overthrow Zeus.

Meanwhile, Heron wonders: If the gods are more flawed than us…why should we have to listen to them?

Two men try to make South Korea a better place in the 1960s: Kim San (Byun Yo-han), an idealist who hopes that American prosperity can help the Korean people, and Uncle Samsik (parasiteis Song Kang-ho), who works in secret as a political fixer and social chameleon. But Kim San begins to wonder: Is Samsik the real deal or is a corrupt influence leading him down a dark path?

Royal (Josh Brolin) is having a great time at his ranch, and that’s all before you get caught up in the strange wormhole that has opened up on his property and goes who knows where. At least now, in Season 2, he’s starting to come around to the idea a little more – although time will tell if it helps him out of the temporal mess he still has ahead of him.

Young SheldonThe Big Bang Theory Spin-off about (who else) Sheldon (other than Young) is coming to an end. The show was a surprise success, straying away from the original’s more caustic sitcom style towards something more heartfelt. How will this show take place? yet another Spin-off (not about Sheldon at what age)? I have to tune in to see it.

The big cigar

Genre: Crazy story

Black Panther founder Huey P. Newton (André Holland) tries to escape to Cuba to avoid the FBI. He follows a pretty elaborate plan – namely, enlisting the services of a famous Hollywood producer to make a fake film production – which, of course, goes wrong at almost every turn.
