Anime adaptations have had a colorful history, to say the least, especially when they’re in English and live-action, but that hasn’t stopped Netflix from moving forward with the new one One piece Series. The streamer presented a new look at the show during its Tudum presentation on Monday in a trailer that also revealed something One piece will be released on August 31st.

The trailer gives a brief look at some members of Luffy’s crew and how he first brought the team together. We also get glimpses of Luffy’s malleable powers, as well as some glimpses of the Straw Hat crew’s opponents, which could indicate Netflix is making some changes to the manga’s adaptation – though we won’t know for sure until the series actually arrives.

One piece tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), an aspiring pirate captain who plans to travel the dangerous Grand Line in search of a mythical treasure called One Piece. To find his treasure, Lufie must assemble the best possible pirate crew. And that crew includes Nami (Emily Rudd), Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), Sanji (Taz Skyler), and Usopp (Jacob Gibson). The series will also star Peter Gadiot as Shanks.
