New patch for Overwatch 2 boosts Moira’s pee charge

The newest surveillance 2 Patch notes were released alongside a Cool limited time mode in ancient Greece styleand the Moira critics will absolutely hate this announcement. Along with a few bug fixes, several characters have been adjusted in this latest update, and Moiras will only add to the drama surrounding the controversial healer.

Since surveillance 2 launched and removed the sixth player on each team, gameplay was faster and deadlier – as such, a support issue has surfaced where players fill that role on the roster but don’t actually

healing her teammates. Moira is the biggest culprit of this growing support problem: her Biotic Grip allows her to drain the life out of enemy players without having to aim too well, and her Fading ability makes her incredibly squiggly and difficult to kill. She can easily dish out 10,000 damage in a match, but since she can also heal very easily double this amount, it’s unbelievable frustrating to play with a moira who refuses to heal.

Now, in a hilarious turn of events, the latest surveillance 2 The update made it so Moira had to do more damage to heal more. Oh boy. the Read patch notes: “Dealing damage with Biotic Orb now restores a small amount of Biotic Energy.” This means that Moira’s damage orb, which can rip through alleys and ricochet off walls, draining enemy characters’ health, now uses a portion of her healing output restored, Moira is known to us as “Pee”.

This is a massive change – previously, Moira could only restore her pee by “sucking” (using her biotic grip to drain enemies at close range), or by simply waiting for her bladder to refill and the Sucker too spammed (I’m sorry). Now, Blizzard is essentially suggesting that Moira players do even more damage to get more heals. over watch

Twitch Streamer Hoshizora puts it best: “Tbh, this change is weird, as if it’s meant to encourage Moiras to heal more, but I have a feeling it will do the opposite.” I see more drama in our future.

The rest of the patch notes are relatively tame, with baby buffs for Zarya, Brigitte, and Junker Queen, and a few bug fixes around map borders and sound effects. The main attraction of this smaller patch is that Moira will keep pissing and pissing people off.
