The latest Crossing the Animals: New Horizons pool addresses a distraction that prevents balloons from scattering in the sky over players' islands under “certain conditions.”
Last week, Crossing the Animals: New Horizons Players have seen the exciting thing happen with balloons that sometimes float their islands. With the Nook Miles success of 300 balloons, the floating treasure seems to stop popping up. This is not a big problem in the first few weeks of the game's life as balloons have always appeared, but the ongoing holiday event is exacerbating the problem.
The holiday, called Bunny Day, is about finding eggs that are hidden a creepy dude known as Zipper T. Bunny. It's a limited wrap-up event on April 12, which means players have a deadline to get the eggs they need to work on special clothing and furniture. There are many different types of eggs, from rocky eggs embedded to bark leaves. Sky eggs, naturally, can be found attached to balloons, so the average for a couple of balloons has been increased, which seems to help players get as much as they can in the next week and a half.
Thus, Bunny Day contributed to the increase in the number of players that would meet face-to-face with the bug. In addition to balloons, this is a key lock for players in finding the Bunny Day recipes and the eggs in the sky necessary to complete some of those DIY projects, not to mention high-end goals like a golden slingshot and completing a small, random Nook Miles + balloon outing.
A cord sent to Animal Crossing a re-distribution on March 30 highlighted the single-player experience with lost balloons and, ultimately, to contact Nintendo about the problem. It seems that creating the second character fixes the problem as long as the character is used, but until they have reached 300 milestones. While it is possible that Nintendo already knew about the problem, the time between a Reddit user to communicate with them and hold them today was a couple of days. Not bad!
So, if you are worried about losing the floating objects in between Crossing the Animals: New Horizons, do not be afraid. You should have been listening to the balloon handout – or a few hundred thanks to Bunny's day – before long.
