After a long development, the third expansion package for The Bond of Isaac: Rebirth is finally coming to Steam on March 31st, as a new trailer shows. The expansion pack is based on a popular fan mod called Antibirthwas first announced in August 2018, but has seen a number of significant delays since then.
While much of the content that was first introduced in Antibirth will make the leap BusesThere will also be new additions, from items and characters to new levels where you can die. The last few numbers mention at least 130 new items, increasing the total number of pickups Isaac to over 700.
The expansion will also add “real” co-op for the first time. While the co-op was in The Bond of Isaac: Rebirth For some time, the second player always had to play a support baby who flew around the main Isaac to help. Starting in BusesPlayers can control two full Isaacs at the same time, which is sure to create even more onscreen chaos.
The bond of Isaac: repentance will be coming to Steam on March 31st for $ 14.99 (although all previous DLC packs are required to play). A Switch version is also planned sometime after the release, with no other consoles specifically mentioned by the developers.
