Nickelodeon All Star Brawl is getting much livelier. Developers Ludosity and Fair Play Labs announced that the game is getting a free new update adding voice acting on Monday. The update features the original actors behind headliners SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star and is available simultaneously for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Windows PC platforms. The Nintendo Switch update will be released “soon,” according to a tweet from the official account said
Thomas James Kenny reprises his role as SpongeBob, while Bill Fagerbakke also reprises his role as Patrick. Dustin Sardella and Janet Varney also return as Aang and Korra from the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. They are joined by the legendary Jim Cummings, the Shredder (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Nickelodeon All Star Brawl is a Super Smash Bros-like fighting game featuring a cast of Nickelodeon characters from popular franchises and television series. Prior to this announcement, the game had no voice acting. The lack of voice acting behind the cartoon characters felt awkward and was a point of criticism
In May, the developers announced DLC for three new characters in the game: Hugh Neutron out Jimmy Neutronjenny out My life as a teenage robotand Rocko out Rocko’s modern life.
