Our eventful year of video games x sneaker releases continues, with the latest collaboration between Nike and the League of Legends Pro League.
For the past few years, Nike has been the Pro League’s official apparel supplier, and while I didn’t have anything nice to say about their early kit offerings –that was the same outdated soccer jersey design that was copied and pasted 15 times– I have nothing but good things to say about these new shoes.
These dunk lows were developed for the players in the Pro League, so it is unclear whether they will ever be available for the general public to buy (try out). If it is them, it would be wonderful because I love everything about them. The base color is great (as is the white and red contrast on the laces and the inside), but there are tons of nice little touches too, like the texture effect on the toe box and a kite scale pattern on the side.
