Despite already announcing and releasing the new model for Change in 2019, rumors that Nintendo will release it someone else a variant of its latest console – beekeeper, fancier "Pro" – refused to leave. So Nintendo came out and just said: no new types of switch switches are coming. At least by 2020.
No doubt you long for people to buy their hearts now, instead of holding on to certain thoughts point next time for some insight new model, a brief statement is out on page 10 of Nintendo's latest financial report readable:
Please note that we have no plans to introduce the new Nintendo switch model during 2020.
That, then. Feel free to ignore those temporary "Pro" rumors. Then lmeet again in 2021 and see where we are.
