Nintendo is causing a big stir in the run-up to Black Friday with the first big discounts on Switch consoles. Both those regular model and the Change OLED are $75 off for a limited time and cost $224.99 and $274.99 respectively. These price reductions apply to the seasonal package, which includes extras such as: B. contains a value of $79 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and three months of Nintendo Switch Online service for online multiplayer, cloud saves, access to retro games, and access to the Nintendo Music mobile app.
Neither console received a significant discount after their respective launches, aside from retailer-specific promotions that typically sold out within hours, or required subscriptions at Costco. To avoid price gouging, Nintendo has instead opted to increase the value of console bundles by including games or trials on its online service. However, now we have actual price cuts without sacrificing the added extras. Whether these discounts return after Cyber Monday remains to be seen, although it wouldn't be surprising to see prices drop as the Switch 2's official reveal approaches in early 2025.
Nintendo has other fantastic gaming deals on accessories and games, including $20 off the excellent, long-lasting Switch Pro wireless controller, $20 off two Joy-Con controllers, and the lowest prices we've seen on some of the must-play games on the Switch. There are just too many good deals to list here, so check them out (and many others) in our roundup of the best early Black Friday gaming deals, which will be updated regularly leading up to Black Friday on November 29th .
