Pokémon fans looking to mask this winter have a new option: Tuchmacher Original Stitch, the company behind the Pokémon Shirts brand of custom shirts. The Original stitch website is now taking orders for face masks and bandanas in 151 pattern variations based on the Pokémon that debuted in Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue.
Original Stitch’s Pokémon face masks use the same fabric patterns as the Pokémon shirts. The fabric used in the masks comes from scraps of material that were used in the manufacture of original stitch shirts in Japan, the company said in a press release.
From Bulbasaur to Mew, all 151 Pokémon of the Kanto region are represented. Masks come in two sizes (small and medium) and customers can choose one of four mesh colors for the inside of the mask. Each mask costs $ 18 (plus shipping) and bandanas made from the same material are $ 18 each.
For Pokémon fans looking to secure a mask as a Christmas present, please note that the website states that masks will not be shipped for 5-6 weeks and bandanas will be shipped in 4-5 weeks. Original Stitch’s custom Pokémon shirts, whose patterns are based on both the Kanto and Johto regions – 251 variations in total – are shipped in 3-4 weeks. The product is shipped to Japan, USA, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, India, Indonesia, UK, Europe, Germany, Italy, France, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Original Stitch and The Pokémon Company launched their line of custom Pokémon shirts in 2019.
