The time loop adventure game from Mobius Digital Outer wilderness – Incidentally, Polygons Game of the Year for 2019 – is getting an expansion. It’s called Echoes of the eye, and it’s coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), and Xbox One on September 28th.
Echoes of the eye will “weave directly into the existing world and narrative ”by Outer wildernesssaid Alex Beachum, creative director of Mobius Digital. “After you’ve played the game, you might ask, ‘How? And why? ‘ And those are very good questions, ”added Beachum.
Announced during publisher Annapurna Interactive’s presentation on Thursday, Outer Wilds: Echos of the Eye is … well, like the main game, maybe it’s better not to know too much what’s in it? That seems to be the developer’s approach Outer wilderness‘new content, but here’s the official description of what players can expect:
