With more and more people around the world being asked to work and stay home, Steam might be expected to find work. But even with that in mind, these numbers from the last 24 hours are something else.
Earlier today, Valve's app sets a new user interface recording with more than 20 million logged in, with a peak of just under 6.4 million per game.
Of those 6.4 million, more than one million were playing one game: Be proud, which itself set a new record two days ago, surpasses that seven mile mark for the first time in its history.
Some of the top games played were DOTA 2 (700k), Sixth Rain Siege (196k), How to Expel (115k) and Grand Theft Auto V (173k).
They are all big, big numbers, but as this coronavirus lock continues to deepen, we might expect them to be broken in the coming days. Then it breaks again, many times.
