An urgent update for surveillance 2 was supposed to go live this afternoon but was pushed back at 11am when Blizzard discovered a “critical issue”.”
A community representative writes on the game’s official forums:
Today’s patch is delayed as we work to resolve a critical issue. We will provide an update here and go live with the patch once the issue is resolved.
This includes the upcoming balance changes, bug fixes including those affecting Mei, and core content updates we have planned for this patch. This delay will also affect the delivery of Overwatch League viewer rewards and perks from the postseason games during the October 30 through November 4 period, along with the rotation of cosmetics in the Overwatch League store.
Daily and weekly challenges are resetting today, as is the standard shop refresh.
Thank you for your understanding. We are working to release this patch as soon as possible. Follow our forums and social media @PlayOverwatch for updates.
While the “Core Content Updates” and Overwatch League stuff is noteworthy, the patch delay is most urgent for Mei fans who were unable to play as a character (now Pay $10 for skins
We’re temporarily disabling Mei to fix a bug with her Ice Wall ability that allows heroes to reach unintended locations. We are working to fix these issues as soon as possible and aim to bring Mei back in our next upcoming patch scheduled for November 15th.

Sounds good
These headphones have impressive sound range and quality, up to 15 hours of playtime, can switch between two Bluetooth devices at once, and look great.
The bad news is that this patch’s delay means she’s still MIA. The good news is that Blizzard is now “planning to release this mid-season patch on Thursday, April 17.” and want to say “Thank you to our players for their patience as we addressed this issue.”
