Overwatch's new test mode will improve the line of the role

Blizzard releases a new game mode The escape which will allow the developer to create the game and explore major changes. Test mode – formerly known as a Trial card – will become an arcade card that changes over time. The first major test was three injuries, two support, one tank.

In a developer review, game director Jeff Kaplan stressed that these changes were endless and would not apply to any standard game modes at this time. In July 2019, Blizzard made a major meta-change, highlighting double damage, support, and a series of two-tank operators. This new line was a way for developers to use the infamous metagame of TOATS, which used less damage vendors, if not more.

Depending on how the Test Mode turns out, the new three-damage mode can be standard … or it may be retired in kind. As for the damaged line of the three, Blizzard will be introducing major changes to "off-tank" heroes, such as Roadhog and D.Va. These heroes will play differently to see how the game evolves when the team has heavy auction tanks.

Kaplan repeatedly emphasizes during the video that players should not be scared, and that this test is out of place. If successful, The escape you could see these changes starting to go live in the competition phase. As for mid-level players, injured players can see a much faster line, due to their larger portion of the reception area.

Test mode goes live tomorrow, and will remain live on Arcade.
