It's the end of November, so it's time for another big Black Friday sale. Sure, Black Friday used to be one day, but now it's spread over two weeks. And PlayStation is the latest major company to offer a series of discounts as Thanksgiving approaches.
On November 22nd, Sony flipped the big switch (at least I assume it's controlled by a big switch) and has activated a ton of deals on digital games, consoles, controllers and PSVR2 headsetsand more on PSN and PlayStation Direct. Like with Xbox's Black Friday salethere are far too many offers to list all offers. Instead, here are some of the best PlayStation Black Friday This is what we found while browsing the huge sale.
Most of the following offers expire on December 2nd. So don't wait too long to secure what you want.
First of all: Sony has temporarily reduced the price of the PS5 Slim by $75. The version with a CD drive costs $425, the digital-only model costs $375.
If you're looking for a PSVR2 headset, Sony has slashed the price of it by a whopping $250. You can either pick this up PSVR2 or the bundle included therein Horizon: Call of the Mountain for $350. However, be warned that using this headset on your PC, while doable, is a bit messy for a variety of reasons.
Sony now also offers discounts PS Plus Premium and Extra 12-month subscriptions. I was able to upgrade my existing basic subscription, which expires in about 9 months, to a premium subscription for just $36.
