Pokémon Go hosts a fairytale event 13th-16th January called “Dazzling dream.”

Throughout the event, you’ll receive double stardust for catching and hatching Pokémon. Cutiely also makes its brilliant debut, so you might find one if you’re lucky.

Spinning PokéStops during the event period may result in one of these event-related field research tasks:

• Evolve 3 Fairy-type Pokémon (Carbink encounter)
• Hatching an Egg (Alolan Vulpix Encounter)
• Hatch 2 eggs (Mawile encounter)
• Boost Pokémon 10 times (Encounter with Spritzee, Swirlix or Cutiely)
• Evolve a Fairy-type Pokémon (20 Gardevoir or Altaria Mega Energy)
• Catch 5 Pokémon (5 revives or 500 stardust)

Notably, Cutiefly eggs obtained by hatching these eggs have a higher chance of being shiny than Cutiefly eggs found in the wild Niantic’s own blog post.
