Pokémon Go Electabuzz Community Guide for the day: start time with great movesets

Pokémon GoElectabuzz Community Day will be November 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time.

The event will feature the most popular Electabuzz, which has a higher chance of getting Pokémon as Shiny, as well as several other benefits. Keep in mind that Electabuzz needs Sinnoh Stone to change, but it is likely that this will be rewarded with Field Research throughout the event.

How do I get Shiny Electabuzz?

Since Electabuzz will appear everywhere, just tap all the Electabuzz you see until you find Shiny. You will get it sooner or later, as the Shiny rate on public days is being upgraded to about 1 in 24.

What special step does Electivire learn?

When it airs 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 15, Electivire will study Flamethrower. This makes Electivire better in PvP, but not particularly compatible with meta.

How do I make the most of this Community Day?

Egg range will be reduced to ¹⁄₄ standard value, so use any Incubators you have. Notably, the only way to get a Shiny Elekid is to hatch one and the Elekid will hatch in two kilometers. Since this is the first public day with a Pokémon baby like this, we are not sure if the glossy amount from Elekid hatches is being increased, but it is worth a try.

Electivire is one of the best PvE attackers in the gym and attack game. Give it to me Thunderstorm and Wild pay and is only beaten by Legendary Zekrom and Shadow Pokémon. If you’re really trying to be the best, take Team Go Rocket to Poké Stops to try and catch the Shadow Electivire, the best electrician in the game.

Electivire is also very good in the PvP Ultra League. Give it to me Thunderstorm, Wild pay, and Ice Punch, and it will do a lot of damage. Also, its Shadow form is very powerful, so grab one of these if you can.
