February will be a busy month Pokémon Go, included with the new Pokémon added to the game, including the Legendary Pokémon Tornadus.
Tornadus is the first Force of Nature trio to appear in the game, which means Thundurus and Landorus are coming in for future updates. Tornadus will take turns with Heatran in a 5 tiger attack starting Feb. 4 at 4 p.m. ET, and will air until Feb. 25 at 4 p.m ET.
Woobat will also be the annual Research Breakthrough Award, alongside Woobat Candy. This is its first appearance in this game, so add it to Woobat and its candy so you can convert it into Swoobat.
From February 7 until February 10, there will be an event to celebrate the Sinoh region, bringing Pokémon from the region into a 7 km egg pond. Budew, Combee, Bronzor, Gible, Riolu, Hippopotas and Mantyke will come out with eggs, on loan from Shiny Riolu and Hippopotas.
There will be a Valentine's Day event from February 14 until February 17 featuring pink Pokémon. Audino and Alomomola, two pink lords from the Unova region, will make their debut for the event, with Audino arriving alongside her Shiny character. There will also be double Phindy hosting throughout the event, which is a fun perk.
The Lickitung will receive an attack date February 15 from 2-5 p.m. in your area, so if you want to grow Lickilicky sweets, this is your chance.
As a final celebration of love and friendship in the middle of February, there will be an event from February 21 to February 24 that will increase the rate at which Friendship goes up, earn double the Pipi trade reward, reduce Stardust trade costs, allow 40 gifts a day, and let you grab a dozen gifts. -20.
Niantic will also explore two surprise events during the month. On February 4 from 6-7 p.m., Pokémon's mystery will be triggered at a high level. And the secret bonus will go live from 6-7 p.m. on February 6th.
