Pokémon Go Guide: Spooky Message Reveals Special Research and Rewards

To celebrate Halloween, a new Special Research Task is available with Pokémon Go.

As it is a special research project, it should be available once you have opened it, so you do not have to worry about finishing it right away. Unlike previous work of the Halloween “Spooky Message” Special Research Tasks

For those looking for Spiritomb, you’ll want to check out some of the Field Research Tasks activities available from the ongoing Halloween event.

Step 1 of 4

• Catch 30 ghost-type Pokémon (Duskull Encounter)
• Transfer 4 Pokémon (340 Stardust)
• Catch 34 Pokémon (340 XP)

Reward: Yamask Blend, 3 Pinap Berries, 4 Razz Berries

Step 2 of 4

• Catch 10 Black Pokémon (Evemt Sableye)
• Make 8 good throws (10 Poké Balls)
• Catch 108 Pokémon (1080 XP)

Reward: Spiritomb Combination, 10 Hyper Potions, Great Great Balls

Step 3 of 4

• Catch 40 ghost-type POKémon (Litwick meeting)
• Make 9 good throws (490 Stardust)
• Catch 49 Pokémon (490 XP)

Reward: Galarian Yamask Combination, 4 Silver Pinap Berries, 9 Golden Berries

Step 4 of 4

• Claim prize (3,400 XP)
• Claim a prize (1,080 XP)
• Claim a prize (4,900 XP)
