Pokémon Go Kalos Event Guide: Timed Research and Rewards

Pokémon from the Kalos region will now appear in Pokémon GoSo there is an event that goes with it.

From December 2 at 10 a.m. to December 8 at 10 p.m. local time, Pokémon in the Kalos area are more likely to spawn and hatch from eggs. There will also be Pokémon from the Kalos region that will appear during raids.

Pokémon like the starters Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie will spawn more frequently along with Bunnelby, Fletchling, Litleo, and Noibat. The three starters are likely to have a Community Day in the years to come, so you might want to consider sticking to the high IV catches you may find.

There are also some special field research tasks to do that reward the new Pokémon.

There will also be a series of timed searches during the event that will reward Mega Energy as well as Poké Balls.

• Give your buddy 3 goodies (600 stardust)

• Catch a Litleo (5 Hypertotions)
• Use 5 Berries to Catch Pokémon (5 resurrections)

• Catch 10 Pokémon (10 Poké Balls)
• Catch a Chespin (30 Mega Venusaur Energy)
• Make 5 nice litters (10 Nanab berries)

Reward: 15 Mega Charizard Energy, 750 Stardust, 100 XP

• Catch 15 Pokémon (10 Poké Balls)
• Catch a Fennekin (30 Mega Charizard Energy)
• Make 7 nice throws (10 Razz Berries)

Reward: 15 Mega Charizard Energy, 750 Stardust, 1,000 XP
