Pokémon Go Kleavor Weakness, Counterattack, and Best Moveset

Kleavor is a Hisui region Pokemon that you can fight and catch Pokemon Go.

Kleavor weakness

Kleavor is a Bug and Rock guy, which means he is weak to steel, Water-, And rock types.

This gives us plenty of options to play – and is especially useful for newer players with less powerful Pokemon at their disposal and for those with stronger groups the possibility of a solo win.

Kleavor counter

With the above in mind, we recommend the following Kleavor counters:

• meta gross with Bullet Punch and Meteor Mash
• Kyogre with Waterfall and Origin Pulse or Surf (ideally as Primal Evolution)
• flooded with water gun and hydro cannon (ideally as a Mega Evolution if you don’t have Kyogre Primal Evolved)
• dialga with metal claw and iron head
• More quickly with Smack Down and Rock Wrecker or Stone Edge

Essentially, you want to come with strong Steel or Water-types, with any strong Rock-types able to support the team. If you come with Kyogre, hopefully there’s a Primal Evolution active that will make an already overpowered Pokemon even stronger.

Of course, these are just our top recommendations; Moves that match any of the above weaknesses can give you an advantage, especially if you’re part of a team. But if you decide to go it alone against Kleavor – which is theoretically possible – then it’s important to consider the tips above.

Best move set for Kleavor

Opt for raids and gyms for Fast Attack And rockfalland if you can afford it X scissors as a second charged move to exploit the error input. Unfortunately, there’s no Rock-type fast move, and between that and some low stats, Kleavor is at a bit of a disadvantage in the current meta.

Is Shiny Kleavor available?

Unlike most Pokemon when it debuted, Kleavor is available shiny from the start, turning its beige-brown appearance into a dark green.

Can Scyther evolve into Kleavor in Pokémon Go?

On his debut Scyther cannot evolve into Kleavor in Pokémon Go.

Niantic has said that raids are “currently” the only way to catch Kleavor, suggesting a potential evolution method could arrive at some point. But for now, raid days like May 6, 2023 are the only way to get one.
