Kyogre is a popular and sought-after raid target in Pokémon Go. The legendary Pokémon is the best water-type attacker in the game and highly sought after by the most intense raid teams, but luckily it has a good handful of weaknesses.
When facing Kyogre, players should use Grass and Electric Pokémon. Kyogre is tricky and strikes, so players should be prepared to deploy a party of seven or more with counters to safely complete the attack. The recommended Pokémon and Movesets are as follows:
- Raikou with shock of thunder and a wild charge
- Zekrom with loading beam and game loading
- Electrivire with shock of thunder and a wild charge
- Magnezone with Spark and Wild Charge
- Roserade with razor blade and sunbeam
Kyogres raids are definitely those where you want to see what the game recommends for you as a party. Electric types are highly recommended as Kyogre can blow your weeds to pieces with Blizzard. If you know Kyogre Blizzard won’t pack, you can use Venusaur, Sceptile, and Breloom too.
Once you get your kyogre the best moveset is for it waterfall and Hydraulic pump. Kyogre is one of the best dust investments to turn on. It hits hard and defeats ground, fire and rock types like no other.
