Okay, this is a little complicated, but you'll be glad you did it. To find Pokémon Trading Card Game BagIf you're using the bizarrely buried wishlist option, you'll want to go to your collection, the My Cards page, the second option of the five tabs at the bottom of the main screen.
However, by default this page will hide any cards you don't already have. So now you want to tap the completely unlabeled, anonymous toggle at the top left of the search button. Your collection will then display all empty spaces for cards that you still need to collect. Where a card is missing, you will see its card number on a gray background instead.
Tap one of those gray tiles and where you'd normally see the larger version of your card, you'll instead see the back of a card with the words “Not Received” in the middle. But now you'll also see a gray outline of a heart with the top right tiny Word “Wishlist” below.
Tap the heart, it turns pink and you are told (it disappears before you can read it): “You have wishlisted this card.” Wonder Picks will display a wishlist icon on this card.”
And that's why this is so useful. Now if you go to the Wonder Pick page (the first tab, then the bottom left option), any card that appears in one of the available packs that you don't already have will be marked with a pink heart in the top right. That's what life is all about So Choosing a pick is much easier since you no longer have to switch between tabs or remember everything.
What a wish list doesn't do
This function could be a lot better. The most immediate way would be to add the wishlist hearts to the cards that are also buried Packing point exchange. Why this isn't the case is honestly puzzling, since it's right where it's needed most. Switching back and forth between this and your collection is even more frustrating because there are so many stupid taps apart and the Pack Point Exchange doesn't even have the quick scroll button that every other screen offers!
Another special feature is that flipping this switch to show missing cards is only available for the core set, up to 226/226, Lt. Surge, works. Once you enter the Alt Arts area, maps 227 to 286, the gaps do not become visible at all. This is maddening! This means there is no way to wishlist these cards!
Hopefully, when the game is patched, such oddities will be ironed out, and perhaps the game will even tell people that there is a wishlist at all!
