Current goal: Pay more attention to weapon stats
Earth Defense Forces 4.1 is a damn good time. A dear friend gave me a copy and we have been playing together for hours ever since. I suspect further efforts will be required this weekend to prevent the Ravagers and their seemingly unstoppable army of bugs and robots from overtaking Earth.
EDF since the series has been around for a while, although it was only this year that I was lucky enough to get started with the remastered fourth part. A third-person shooter with different classes to choose from, you go on missions to kill countless oversized bugs (it helps me overcome my lifelong battle with arachnophobia). To be honest, I didn’t play very tactfully. EDF was my “relaxing with friends” game, much to the dismay of my comrade, who probably wishes I would pay more attention to my Wing Diver’s stats instead of just choosing the weapon called “Monster” for pure and inefficient fun Something like that is called having. But oh my god, the gun is called “Monster” and the gray ants pop when I shoot them with it! –Claire Jackson
