Efforts to preserve, highlight and celebrate important games of the past have gained momentum in recent years. For example, consider DigitalEclipse Atari 50a compilation of games from throughout the company’s history, providing wonderful context through interviews and archive footage, and highlighting their enormous influence on gaming. Now we have another such compilation: UF0 50a collection of 50 games from UFO Soft, the business software maker turned game developer responsible for dozens of gems in the 1980s that simultaneously reflected the larger gaming trends of the time while also pushing the medium forward in their own innovative ways.
