That's worth it Pokémon Masters, DeNA's mobile take on the ever-popular series, used Valentine's Day to present some of my favorite things: Professor Oak and Mew. The Sync pair is currently free for every player entering the game until March 15
Pokémon Masters marks the first time Professor Oak himself enters the ring in battle. He first appears in a mobile game with Nidorino usually by his side when he is introduced in the main series, but after a short cut, the legendary Mew decides to tag him and become his partner instead.
The mew is famous in a weird way, so it's amazing to see him join Professor Oak in a triple and triple argument. But I think it would have taken a wonderful thing to make this average experienced professor interested in this race that serves as the crux of Pokémon Masters the storyline.
Although the player is there to see Professor Oak and the Mew up team, it doesn't really explain why a goddess like Pokémon would be condescending if she went with some researcher. Maybe it really likes those chalky heart conversations.
One would never really know Mew.
