PlayerUnknown’s battlefieldThe newest Survivor Pass has all of the pajamas you need for a slumber party. The new pass is part of the game’s 11.2 update that was released on Wednesday. Aside from sleek sleepwear, the patch also brings some major changes to Erangel’s Military Island Bridges, one of the most dangerous areas on the map.
The new Pajama Party Survivor Pass includes over 30 rewards, mostly related to pajamas. This Survivor Pass marks a change in the way PUBG traditionally makes its Battle Pass-style seasonal cosmetics. In the past, the passes were tied to the season as well as thematically.
This time the pass is not directly linked to the game times. This means that PUBG lets the pass last as long as it wants, while also leaving the studio free to experiment with stranger topics – pajamas, for example. The Survivor Pass: Pajama Party runs until June 8 at 10 p.m. EDT.
The biggest gameplay change in Update 11.2 reworks the two massive bridges that connect the main island of Erangel with the military base island in the south. These bridges are the only land-based link between them, which often makes them one of the most dangerous locations on the map.
After the update, the bridges now have walkways that run underneath them, as well as walkways along the side of the bridge. This should give players a slightly safer way to travel and another way to ambush players who are already camping on the bridge.
