Did you know that Quentin Tarantino loves the first three? Toy history films and even considers the third part of the series to be one of the best films he has ever seen? Well, now you know. And he also has some thoughts on Toy Story 4, to.
The first Toy history The film came out in 1995 and basically changed everything. It showed that you could make a full-length computer-animated film and that people would come to see it. Four years later, we got Toy Story 2
In the episode of August 25th of Bill Maher’s Club Random podcastthe famous pulp Fiction The author and director spoke about trilogies and franchises as he expressed his love for Toy history
“In the case of Toy historythe third one is just great. It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen,” Tarantino told Maher. “And if you’ve seen the other two, it’s devastating.”
“But the thing is, then, three years later or so, they have a fourth [film]. And I have no desire to see it. You literally finished the story as perfectly as you could, so no, I don’t care if it’s good. I’m done. I’m done.”
Tarantino admitted that Toy Story 4 could “still be good,” but he doesn’t care.
Maher then asked if that was the reason why he did not Kill Bill 3because it ended perfectly and Tarantino replied, “I killed Bill.” So, yeah, we don’t need another movie like that.
And now quickly, someone put a microphone in front of Tarantino, preferably without Maher in the room, and ask him about his thoughts on Toy Story 5which was announced for 2023 and full reveal in August during D23.
