Some of my favorite Rockstar moments Red Dead Redemption 2 I had to set out into the dusty plains with only a friendly horse to carry me and a parcel full of goods. I listened to the gentle clatter of my horse’s hooves and simply enjoyed the atmosphere. These quiet moments are nice, but what if there was a much more dangerous alternative? What if every time I left Dutch’s camp I was attacked by horse-shaped missiles and runaway carriages? It’s a question few gamers dare to ask, but it’s truly a sight to behold.

Streamer Blurbs has created a mod that makes “all carts and horses travel at supersonic speeds.” It’s a horror game now.” Blurbs posted a supercut of some moments on his X account, which is truly terrifying. Are you trying to get into town? You will break. Out in the steppe? You are not safe; A carriage could speed past you at any moment. It seems completely impossible to navigate a crowded city center like St. Denis. It’s chaotic and ridiculous, in the style of Comedian Tom Walker’s Playthrough of Grand Theft Auto 4 with ultra speed mod activated.

While “Grand Theft Auto” is potentially more dangerous, as the streets of Liberty City are narrow and full of cars, the stark historical setting of “Red Dead Redemption” seems just as risky. In a 12-minute video demonstrating the mod, Arthur is thrown into the sky, crushed by hooves, thrown across the plain and set on fire.

The entire video is reminiscent of the early days of a horse apocalypse film. Passers-by crash into pillars, bodies are thrown into the air and the citizens of the West are in constant fear and worry. Personally, I would also be pretty upset if my horse had the strength to throw me across an entire city. There are also some wild physics mods triggered by a rowboat, and Blurbs can send its poor victims into the air and fly in an infinite circle, powered by a malfunctioning rowboat.

This video has some top-notch antics, and while I appreciate the serene moments of stillness I find in Red Dead, it’s pretty fun to watch the unbridled chaos unfold as you play through Blurb’s. Rockstar has created a big, beautiful world – one that’s perhaps best enjoyed by taking a walk.
