As with its predecessor, you have many potential party members to choose from, and team composition is both the most important part of the game and the most entertaining. Because you can mix and match to your heart’s content and find the perfect game style and party that suits you best. Combat takes place in real time and can play out very differently depending on the characteristics of your characters. There are wizards, good old-fashioned dudes with swords, and more, and in combat you’ll have to use their varied skills to chain attacks while timing blocks and dodges to avoid damage. Battles can get pretty exciting as you use everything in your arsenal and have to really think about what you’re doing. To put the icing on the cake, a long time Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uemetsu made a lot of music for the original gacha game and these tracks keep popping up Relink.
