Resident Evil 4The new remake of gets a boost of free content with the addition of The Mercenaries mode on April 7th, but it seems there’s another adventure coming in Capcom’s modernized survival horror game. A datamine of the PC version of the game indicates that the Separate ways DLC released by Capcom for previous versions of resident Evil 4 can also come to the remake.
according to a Tweet from Resident Evil Centralmembers of the Resident Evil Wiki Discord community dug up a reference to it Separate ways – or rather, The other orderas the add-on was called in Japan – in Resident Evil 4PC files from .
Separate ways is an unlockable expansion for Resident Evil 4 This puts players in control of Ada Wong on her journey, frequently crossing paths with Leon S. Kennedy and Luis Serra during the events of the main campaign. In the original incarnation of Separate ways, Ada performs actions such as ringing the church bell ending the village’s attack on Leon, as well as preventing Leon’s death at the hands of Jack Krauser and securing the rocket launcher that Leon uses in the game’s final battle. (The original Resident Evil 4 also had a separate playable chapter called Quest: Ada, in which Ada secures Plaga samples for Albert Wesker.)

Separate ways could serve as a home for more than just filling RE4‘s story and Ada Wong’s involvement in game events. It could also serve as a home for edited content, like the fight against U-3. While this creature does not appear in the main game, the remake references U-3 in its collectible files.
Resident Evil 4 is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X. Now, if you’re dying to play as Ada Wong, there is one popular PC mod that trades its model for Leon’s. It’s no frills, but it offers players the opportunity to marvel at Ada in full RE4‘s campaign if you inexplicably can’t see Leon S. Kennedy.
