The co-star of Resident Evil 4, Ashley Graham, has changed quite a bit for Capcom’s new remake of the action-survival-horror classic. She is more present, less prone to danger and less disruptive when babysitting RE4 make new. But one suggested change to Ashley might make her even better: turn her into a mouse.
Fan art of Ashley as a mouse – aka Moushley – has been inundated Twitter, tumblrAnd Instagram this past week, as artists interpret Leon S. Kennedy’s protégé as a cute, cheese-hungry little rodent. It’s all fun and triggered by a specific mouse-shaped Ashley fan art from Twitter featuring Agrimmora. They published the following thought exercise on March 24th – the same day resident Evil 4 launched – and inspired hundreds of fan artworks.
Since then, other artists have recreated Ashley as a mouse in every imaginable way, from Animal Crossing-style mouse villagers to Jerry in the form of a wedge of cheese tom jerry To The rescuers-influences Moushley. There’s so much great stuff out there, but here’s a sample.
All of this Moushley fan art caught the attention of Capcom, who apparently agrees.
Now all that’s left is one brave modder to get Ashley in mouse form – and vendor-sold cheese – into it Resident Evil 4 self.
