Roller Champions will release the alpha that was locked for two weeks on a Windows PC on March 11, Ubisoft announced today. Free play, roller-derby-meets-Rocket-League The multiplayer game was first announced during E3 2019 last summer.
Closed alpha will run from March 11 at 9 a.m. PDT to March 23 at 1 p.m. PDT. Roller Champions it involves two teams of three players, who fight to have the ball and try to finish the towel around the bank track with it. Teams use their points by throwing the ball through the hoop, often needing to pass between them to surround their opponents' defense. The counter restarts when the ball changes material.

Developers with Ubisoft Montreal say the latest build will add customization options; new movements such as throwing and pulling aircraft; with the team moving when one player is facing a gun to zoom in on a track and resist an attack.

The Roller Champions closed alpha will be available via iPlay for Windows PC. The continuation will reset after the alpha has been closed, but participants will be rewarded for the game's completion by the account they use.
