Its creator, Human Head Studios, was able to make a great sci-fi shooter after Prey, and there is even a second part to wait until Arkane takes over and turns it into something else. So they decided to go back, and after 19 years, restricting the deities in Thor, Freya, Odin, Rocky, and all Nordic myths stirred up a bit of confusion in the second part, which is to be used in principle Rune 2 calls Rune: Legend of Wonderland.
For Michael Larson and Chris Rhinehart, it was the dream game originally. He was promoted on Unreal Engine. It's a spectacular scene, with incredible multiplayer and mysterious atmosphere invested in it for hours. By analysing this candidate as one of the most disappointing things of the year, all the enjoyment was wasted, and we said that after giving him enough time and opportunity.
When the adventure begins, the world is turned upside down. Ragnarok is in its heyday, and tough men like Thor and Odin have yet to make orders for the disaster caused by Loki. Now it's your turn to become a serious Viking named Heimdal, who has a few hours to acquire weapons, equipment, and experience points before he can be sent to the parallel space where the straight God is. The good news is that once you get there, you have to choose a partner from Thor, Hel, and Odin, and that's not bad. They represent three categories of systems, although their performance is almost as poor as everything else.
The stories you follow are bland, they never stop and are interrupted. In addition, no centerline can be hooked on or connected between certain parts. The premise of Ragnarok seems to be empty and meaningless, and they have spent years perfecting it. In the game, you have to look for a series of relics that have the power to help Heimdal accomplish this task and thus avoid final judgment. But as confrontation with many mistakes, nonsense and mistakes becomes more and more difficult, you want to learn more.
By the way, games themselves are also victims of bad art in the field. Renren Studio went bankrupt at this time, just after Bethesda announced the establishment in Chicago of a new studio called Roundhouse Studios, which consists of the same templates. It was a kick for Ragnorok Game LLC, who didn't know what was going on behind it, so decided to stop supporting the project. Therefore, it has neither commercial projection nor polishing in any way.
It should also be noted that Human Head Studio has its own drama in this project, and that it produces Nordic-themed games (such as "God of War", "PS4" or at least we think this may be Sony Sony Monica) Some aspects of Rune 2 look like one of the reasons why a box of cereals stayed late in the game. They didn't hit anything.
During playback, we can comment that these controls are rare and often responsive, so you are not comfortable with these controls, the detection of the shock is shocking, and the camera does not stop. Then there are vulnerabilities. Vulnerabilities are scattered everywhere, and it should be mentioned separately that some parts of the game have not been completed. There are some enemies that suddenly appear and disappear in your nose, special attacks not shown but heard, no textures loaded … and of course "peta". Everything, outdated looks are not a problem for the current team.
Rune 2 wants to be a god of war. Try it, really. It offers the same tricks and diagonal dimensions, the same camera plane, themes and characters drawn from the same guide (before Rune), similar weapons, and matching overall designs. You can also make levels more closed than they seem by charging towards common enemies and bosses or boats.
It also has multiplayer games. Unlike Sony, you can work with more people as you did in the past. Up to three people can enter PvE mode to resist the bad guys on the Loki side. But that's okay, because there is nothing, why you waste time or have another person persuade you to do it.
Rune 2 is terrible, not worth it, unfinished and badly done part two.
