The last big update for Red Dead Online was released in July 2021. The game has not received any major content updates since then. When the year 2022 starts RDO Tired of the lack of content and communication from Rockstar, fans have jointly launched the #SaveRedDeadOnline campaign to … Red Dead Online.

Blood Money was the last major content update Red Dead Online receive and that was July 13th, 2021. And to call that a big update is a bit generous as Blood Money mainly added some new, but not entirely unique, missions and a new currency to the game. It was a fine update, but compared to the last one GTA Online Update, who added a lot of content and made big names like Dr. Dre introducedIt is clear that one rock star game is more popular than the other.

That, as expected, upset Red Dead Online Players who feel like Rockstar is making the game die for all the potential it has to be something big and special.

All of this came to a boil on January 6thwhen Rockstar announced a boring month-long event Red Dead Online This did not add any new content, but increased the payouts for old missions and activities. This boring event seemed like “too little for too long” and in response, many players started tweeting their frustration and anger with the # SaveRedDeadOnline hashtag.

Now, days later, the hashtag is still trending on Twitter and more and more players continue to share stories about how much they enjoyed the game and how they are now feeling abandoned by Rockstar.

While I understand that games are difficult to make, and it has only gotten more difficult during the Covid era, I also understand the frustration of these players.

Of course, some have used the hashtag and growing frustration with Rockstar to attack and push some developers and others on social media RDO Fans to fight back and remind players not to be abusive assholes to the people who make the game or players who are still enjoying it.

I not touched RDO in the past few months because not bringing me back much. In the meantime, GTA Online continues (even during Covid) to get massive and awesome updatesEvery five to six months, new features, missions, events, vehicles, music, and more are added. And unfortunately for fans of RDO, that has simply not been the case with online westerns for years.

For many, it’s not just a call for more content updates, but a call for more communication on the part of the publisher and developer behind it RDO, GTA V, and more. Of course, Rockstar Games has not yet responded to the campaign.
