The world is moving so fast these days, I feel like we’ve all forgotten that The Pokemon Company started selling last week a huge plush toy with leeks. But this week’s winners will all remind us of that strange time.

So, yes … this is the last post to the ‘Shop Contest’ on Kotaku. I’m not going, I’ll still be there on the weekends, posting about Pokémon and news and whatever else I find interesting, cool, or weird. But that’s the end of the weekly Photoshop competition. I know this news is not good or what you wanted to read today and I am sorry.
Why? That is the question I suspect some of you are wondering right now. Well, I don’t want to go into the details, but sometimes things that are fun aren’t always the most successful. That’s the way it is. I love taking part in these shop contests even if they took more time than you might expect. But these stupid posts just don’t fit in anymore Kotaku. I know this is going to make some of you sad or angry, but I hope you stay tuned and read other blogs and posts on this page.
